Top Adventure Retreat

So…this is the only category where we couldn’t just narrow it down to one. There was just too many to choose from. Whether it was rafting the Arkansas River through Colorado Canyons, or rapelling down a bluff in Alabama, or climbing a route on Shelf Road in CO or at Cherokee Rock Village, or seeing a double rainbow over an MLB game in Denver or the Smokey Mountains…this year has been jammed full with epic moments on adventure retreats with Rocks to Rivers. Top New Therapist

Well…maybe, not technically. But if you’ve been up to the office there’s a good chance you’ve met Phoenix Joy “PJ”, the other pup of Bethany Glass. Hefe, her therapy dog, is still our favorite sage therapist, but PJ is quickly rising the ranks.

Maggie’s Top Book

Maggie Savidge, a counselor here who specializes in working with OCD, has found this book exceptionally helpful to her work this year. Utilizing Internal Family Systems (IFS) this book explores a unique, compassionate, and evidence-based approach to resolving complex and dissociative trauma.

Top Outdoor Photograph

If you have been in our office space you’ve probably noticed that we love being outdoors (and live music). All of the photography in our office was taken by Dr. Henry, and this is his favorite from this past year. Taken on the way up to Mt. Humboldt (14’070) and looking out over the valley at the Crestone Range from this year’s Men’s Coaching Adventure.

 

Top Counseling Center

So…this is a not so humble brag. We typically receive multiple accolades every year for being one of the ‘top counseling centers’ in the area - whether in the category of couples, families, or individual counseling. But, in all sincerity, the highest accolades we receive come when we see our clients move through hard things, face fear with courage, overcome hangups, heal hurts and old wounds, and begin to live the life they desire to have.
