The Men’s Mountain Adventure is a fun-packed 6-day event in the Sangre dé Cristo peaks guided by Bill Blair SPI, and Branden Henry, Ph.D., LPC, CSAT (Red River Counseling). This adventure combines adventure initiative with guided reflection to help your dreams get traction.
ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES
You will be hiking, backpacking, fly-fishing, and rock climbing in the backdrop of the Sangré de Cristo Mountains. Your certified guides and instructors lead all your adventure activities.
LODGING/CAMPING
Your lodging accommodations are front/backcountry camping and hotel accommodations.
WHAT DO I BRING
You will receive an email with a packing list to prepare for your trip.
FOOD
Your meals on this trip are awesome! You will learn to cook backcountry meals that can be replicated on outdoor adventures you take in the future.
SESSIONS
There is wisdom that comes through an examined experience through the 12 steps. Through the coaching process, you will gain personal awareness and the confidence to navigate the next phase of your journey in life and relationships.
FACILITATOR BIOS
Branden Henry is a Licensed Professional Counselor and PhD Counselor Education and Supervision. He is the owner and primary therapist at Red River Counseling and is trained in treating trauma and addictions through the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals. He also is experienced in 12-step recovery work.
Bill Blair is a professional coach, minister, AMGA-certified single pitch instructor (climbing), and founder of Rocks To Rivers wellness organization. Bill has a background in ministry, leadership development, 12-step recovery coaching, and adventure-based risk management.

The minimum age for participation is 18.
TRANSPORTATION
We will be providing shuttle service to and from the Denver airport
Be sure your flights arrive in Denver 1 day before your trip begins (June 30) [this will help to mitigate travel delays].
For departure - don’t schedule your flight any earlier than 1 PM on the 6th.
