Welcome to What Music Becomes
Hosted and Sponsored by Red River Counseling
This podcast is about the music behind our stories.
We all have music that takes us somewhere. A song can bring back a person, a place, a relationship, a season of life—or a version of ourselves we haven't thought about in years.
What Music Becomes is a podcast exploring the powerful connection between music and the human experience. In each conversation, a counselor sits down with someone to explore a piece of music that has become meaningful in their life and the story attached to it.
Through conversations about love, loss, relationships, addiction, grief, healing, identity, resilience, and personal growth, we explore how music can become much more than something we hear. It can become a memory, a refuge, a connection, a way of expressing what words cannot, or a reminder of how far we've come.
Because sometimes the story behind the music tells us something important about the person who hears it.
