Reid is a P-LPC, or provisionally licensed professional counselor, offering counseling services at Red River Counseling.

Reid believes that we are created for relationship and connection. We can be hurt in relationships, yet profound healing is found in them. Whether we realize it or not - we are in relationship with ourselves, the people around us, and our world - and this can greatly influence our lives and wellbeing.

Reid desires to create an environment of relational safety that is restful and restorative. The counseling room is a confidential place where we can begin to engage with our story and take steps to cultivate lasting change. Whether you are feeling stuck in the the past, lacking enjoyment in daily activities, or experiencing anxiety for the future - Reid wants want to walk beside you on your healing journey.

Reid has extensive experience in treating areas including but not limited to: anxiety and depression, trauma, life transitions, spirituality issues, relationship issues, addiction recovery, couples counseling, and more. Reid has training in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and several other modalities. Reid has an interest in holistic and functional health as it pertains to mental health - seeing the mind, body, and soul weave together. It can be overwhelming to think about the options of therapy - Reid wants to meet you where you are and work with you collaboratively and honestly towards your personal goals.

In his spare time, Reid enjoys all things outdoors - particularly riding bikes, hiking/climbing, surfing, and working in his and his wife’s garden. Reid married his wife in 2020 and they have a dog named Roo.
