Instructions for a Telehealth Session

Make sure you’re in a private location where you won’t be interrupted.

1. Simple Practice will send you a link for the video conference before the session begins.

2. Enable video and audio use

3. Enter your name when prompted

4. Hang tight in the waiting room, we’ll be with you as soon as possible.


If we get disconnected, retry the link or contact your counselor

Other tips for a quality video call:

Make sure the lighting is in front of you rather than behind you.

Please let us know if you're having a hard time hearing or seeing us. 

Try to stabilize your phone or computer, rather than holding it in your hand, make sure it is stationary.

Try to have your entire face in the video area.

Use headphones with a microphone for better communication or if you are in a noisy location.

Make sure you have a good internet or cellular connection.

Above all else, make sure you are in a private location where you can speak freely.

Some insurance policies cover telehealth services. Please call your provider to find out your coverage.
