Red River Counseling offers in-service training, personalized IOP coaching, and workshops for teachers, parents, and students.
Counseling
With years of experience and a wealth of training, our team of counselors are able to provide individual, couple, marriage, family, and group counseling for children, teens, and adults. We are trained to help with addiction, trauma, PTSD, grief, depression, anxiety, relationships, parenting, recovery, anger, and other issues. Whatever the issue, be it with teachers, students, or families, we can help.
We also offer Telehealth (online) services for folks in Mississippi.
In-Service Training
Our staff includes former and current teachers, as well as former school counselors, all of whom have advanced degrees in counseling or social work. Navigating how to advocate for your child or student who has an IOP can be daunting in the best of circumstances. Some of the members on our team have histories in the classroom and in school systems where they learned to navigate many of the issues that can arise with IOP’s. We would love to come alongside you as you walk towards advocating for your child’s best interests.
Group Counseling for Teachers Only
We recognize that teacher’s have a particularly difficult job, as well as particular circumstances that make it difficult to receive counseling on a regular basis. Our therapists offer group counseling that is limited to teacher’s only when the need arises. Typically, when 8-10 teachers show an interest and commitment, one of our counselors will put together a group specifically for that set of teachers, keeping in mind the specific logistics that come along with being a teacher.
